We’re going to be in big, big trouble in this country after Obama wins the election tomorrow. There are whole years missing out of his biography and I feel the press, which has supposedly been vetting him for the past two years but never mentioned anything about his desires to use the courts to redistribute wealth or his wanting to bankrupt the coal industry, which came out of his own mouth in BROADCASTED INTERVIEWS, went after Bristol Palin and Joe the plumber with MUCH more gusto.
I’m not saying McCain will be worth a fuck either, but at least he is not an unknown quantity. I haven’t even be able to find out what Obama was organizing for when he was a community organizer. Simply helping the poor to be involved in the civic process? Please.
I also believe that a President Obama will find out the rest of the world is going to change him more than he is going to change it (although I thought we wanted our next president to stay out of the world’s business).
But I guess we’ll see. When taxes go up for even those of us who aren’t “the rich,” and when energy prices skyrocket (again), and when the world still hates us (unless Obama capitulates to it, which I don’t think is out of the question), and when opposition voices are silenced either by denying them access or forcing “fairness” on them, and when nothing ever really changes, maybe everyone who is blinded by Obama’s light will discover it isn’t as ordained from above as they may think.
