From the “goddamn, people are stupid” department comes this: Study Finds That 35 Percent Of BlackBerry And PDA Users Would Choose Their Device Over Their Spouse

This study surveyed 6,500 PDA users, although the story about it doesn’t say that all in the study are married. But 35% of 6,500 is 2,275. So there are 2,275 people who would rather have their PDAs than a spouse.

Having a spouse, I fully understand that they can be unreasonable pains in the ass who make you want to commit homicide while a PDA is completely submissive and will do as you please, but unless that PDA can line up a blow job for me — if not give me one itself — I’ll take the warm body that’s always there and occasionally giving up the nappy over the cold piece of tech that never will.

But then I could get women in the old days when you used to have to actually talk to them — with your voice, and many times while looking at them in person, so I guess I’m in the minority all around.
