With temperatures in the low 200s or something I’ve noticed that the same people who endlessly profess their love for summer in the winter are the first ones to bitch and moan about how hot it is when a heat wave rolls through. I want to slap those people.

By the same token, I’ve noticed people have a way of expressing advocacy for bullshit rules and regulations that govern the lives of people who they deem need governing yet bitch and moan when they’re forced to follow those rules too. I want to laugh at those people.

For the record, I’m a long-time hater of summer and heat and long days, so while I can bitch about it right now I don’t. I just sit in the pool or the AC all day (true story: the coolest room in my house is the little half bath off the foyer that’s like 3′X5′ with its own air duct… my deuce dropping has been taking legendary lengths of time the last few days). And I’m anti-everything if it’s a bullshit rule, libertarian that I am. As long is doesn’t affect me, I could give a shit less about the world. That includes my “responsibility” to make sure the planet sustains for my children’s children and to become “green.” Fuck green. I’m black. To the core.
