Things Scheduled Ahead

This is my next few days:

Friday - Work all day and then sit through a karate belt test for the boy (green advanced… he’s getting to where he can block my punches, which isn’t good for the kid beater in me), followed by dinner. That’ll take all night.

Saturday - Little League from 12:30-2:00, then hanging out for a bit before I head off to Frederick for the night to check out the Frederick Running Festival expo, pick up my race packet and meet up with a running buddy. Dinner of pasta and bed by 9:00 or so.

Sunday - Half marathon (13.1 miles) in Frederick starting at 6:30am. Back to the hotel by about 9:00 to shower, change and check out. Go home to do yard work; lawn mowing and such.

After all that joy and hilarity, things get really asstacular:

Monday - Prep day. To explain further, I offer one hyphenated word. Phospho-soda.

Tusday - The day of infamy.

On paper a month ago this weekend didn’t look too badly, although it allowed for little free time. But then three weeks ago happened and I got the fun stuff added to the beginning of my next week.

I’m going to eat like a holy pig on Sunday. Maybe buffets for lunch AND dinner, even though I’m usually not hungry for a while after running a long distance in the morning. If I have to spend Monday cleaning out the colon I want it to be a total blow out.

Let the fireworks begin! (On Monday.)
