No quicker did word get out that the incident involving nine black kids beating up a white woman on a bus (and a white guy and a white old lady) was being investigated as a hate crime did the administrator of the Mass Transit Administration make a correction:

Paul J. Wiedefeld, the MTA administrator, said the authorities are considering racial hostility as a possible motivation in the attack, but he also emphasized that the investigation is exploring other avenues.

“It’s one of the aspects of the case - racial bias - that we’re looking into, but it’s a number of things we’re looking into.”

MTA officials did not explain why they think race played a role in the incident. [My take: Probably because they were told the kids were calling the lady getting beaten up a "white bitch" or something similar while they were kicking her in the face.]

Wiedefeld said the investigation is continuing and warned against jumping to conclusions. “We all need to step back and take a deep breath,” he said.

Un-fucking-believable. If the races were reversed, racial bias would be the ONLY aspect of the case anyone would be looking into. The race baiters would already have camp set up and CNN would be working on a special report about racial disharmony in the country.

By the way, the white victim — who it turns out is homeless — has been put into the witness protection program because officials fear for her safety. Seems people have a way of coming up dead when they are witnesses to crimes. What a fuckin city Baltimore is.

Oh, well. At least the mayor has time to go shopping in high end department stores and look good while doing it.
